World No. 1 Novak Djokovic won his first match at the Geneva Open of the ATP 250 tournament .
The Serbian tennis star started his campaign from the Round of 16 and won 6:3, 6:3 against World No. 85 Yannick Hanfmann (Germany). The match lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes.
As a result, Djokovic won his 1,100th ATP Tour match on his birthday. He turned 37 on Wednesday.
The prize fund of the Geneva Open is 579 thousand euros.
