Borussia Dortmund have parted company with their German manager Edin Terzic, this German club informs on its website.
"The 41-year-old, who won the DFB Cup with BVB in 2021, finished runners-up in the Bundesliga in 2023 and reached the Champions League final in 2024, asked BVB to terminate his contract with immediate effect, and after discussions the club agreed to his request," Dortmund added in their statement.
Dortmund finished fifth in the German Bundesliga season that wrapped up, and became eligible to play in the UEFA Champions League.
