Eight medal competitions were held Sunday, the second day of the 2014 Winter Olympics that are underway in Sochi, Russia.
And sixteen countries won medals after the second day of competitions.
As reported earlier, cross-country skiers Sergey Mikayelyan and Artur Yeghoyan, who represent Armenia, on Sunday took part in the men’s 30-kilometer skiathlon, and they came in 46th and 63rd, respectively, from among 68 competitors.
On February 11, Mikayelyan and Yeghoyan will compete in the individual freestyle sprint.
Aside from Sergey Mikayelyan and Artur Yeghoyan, cross-country skier Katya Galstyan and alpine skier Arman Serebrakian likewise represent Armenia at the 22nd Winter Olympic Games.
