Spanish champion and Champions League winner Real Madrid won the club world championship for the fifth time.
The Whites defeated Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia) 5-3 in the final, which knocked out Libertadores Cup winner Flamengo in the semi-finals.
Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior and Uruguayan forward Federico Valverde each scored a double for the Spanish club, with French forward Karim Benzema scoring once.
Madrid had previously won the club World Cup in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
