Former Portuguese head coach Fernando Santos has been appointed head coach of the Polish national team, according to the press service of the Polish Football Union.
After eight years with the Portuguese national team, Santos left his post after the 2022 World Cup. He replaced Czeslaw Michniewicz in the Polish national team.
