Head coach: Artur Hovhannesyan got hand injury during second round

NEWS.am Sport correspondent has talked with the Head coach of the Armenian boxing team Karen Aghamalyan. 

Armenian boxer Artur Hovhannesyan (49 kg) was defeated 27-30 (0-3) during the Olympic boxing tournament, which kicked off in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.

“In the first two rounds, Artur Hovhannesyan led equal struggle, but he weakened in the last round. In the second round, Hovhannesyan got a hand injury, as a result of which he lost 0-3. Tomorrow Vladimir Margaryan will step in the ring,” Aghamalyan noted.
