Reining World Boxing Organization (WBO) Super Middleweight Champion Arthur Abraham (Germany) defended his title in the German capital city of Berlin on Saturday night.
Abraham defeated Paul Smith (England) on a unanimous decision by the ringside judges.
This bout was the second between Abraham, 35, and Smith, 32. During their 12-round fight in September 2014, the Armenian boxer had defeated the Brit again on a unanimous decision by the judges; but Smith was granted a rematch.
Arthur Abraham dedicated his 42nd win in professional ring to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.
After the fight, Abraham noted that his next opponent will be either Robert Stieglitz or Felix Sturm; both Germans are former world champions.
