Chief Coach of Manchester United Sir Alex Ferguson praised veterans of his team Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes after the victory over Norwich City 2:1.
The match with Norwich did not seem to be an easy one as the Red Devils had assumed. Giggs hit the victory goal at 92’.
"Scholes and Giggs are the best players this club has ever had. Given the career Ryan has had, to score the winning goal with the last kick of the game ... I think he deserved that," ESPN quoted Ferguson.
To note, it was Giggs’ 900th appearance for United against Norwich.
