Granada forward Facundo Pellistri, Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez, Deportivo Toluca forward Maximiliano Araujo, Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur scored for Uruguay.
In the other match in Group C, the hosts USA lost 1-2 to Panama, whose goals were netted by Slovan Bratislava defender Cesar Blackman and Universidad Catolica del Ecuador forward Jose Fajardo. And Monaco forward Folarin Balogun scored for the USA. The Americans, however, were down to 10 men the 18th minute, when their Juventus midfielder Timothy Weah received a red card.
USA and Panama have 3 points each, while Bolivia are last after two defeats in this group.
In the third matches in Group C, Uruguay will face the USA, and Panama will go against Bolivia.
