Seven medal competitions were held Tuesday at the 2014 Winter Olympics that are held in Sochi, Russia. The day was most successful for Norway, as its athletes won two gold medals, thus climbing to second place in the overall medal standings.
France, Slovenia, South Korea, the Netherlands, and the USA captured one gold medal, apiece, on Tuesday. Germany still leads the standings with eight gold medals, as Norway trails behind with seven gold medals.
