The 22nd Winter Olympics got underway Thursday at 10am, Armenia time, in Sochi, Russia.
The preliminary competitions will be held on the first day.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics will take place on Friday and on February 23, respectively.
Armenia will have four representatives in Sochi: skiers Sergey Mikayelyan, Artur Yeghoyan, Katya Galstyan, and alpine skier Arman Serebrakian.
NEWS.am Sport has been accredited by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to cover the event directly from Sochi.
