MOSCOW. – The official statement of Spartak Moscow (Russia) reflected on the performances of club forward Yura Movsisyan and midfielder Aras Ozbilis in Tuesday’s last 2014 World Cup qualifier group match between Italy and Armenia, which ended in a 2-2 draw in Naples, Italy.
“Armenia played a draw with Italy. Movsisyan opened the scoring account in the fifth minute of the game. Unfortunately, Armenia failed to win.
“The Spartak players, and the whole [Armenian] team, showed a great performance. Movsisyan played the entire game, whereas Ozbilis was substituted in the 78th minute,” Spartak Moscow official website reports.
To note, Yura Movsisyan netted Armenia’s first goal in the match.
