Switzerland drew 1-1 with host nation Germany in the third match of the UEFA Euro 2024 group stage and qualified for the Round of 16.
After two earlier wins, Germany had already secured a spot in the playoffs.
Switzerland and Bologna striker Dan Ndoye scored in the 28th minute. And Borussia Dortmund forward Niclas Fullkrug netted Germany’s equalizing goal in the second minute of added time of the second half.
Germany took the first place in Group A, with 7 points. Switzerland finished second, with 5 points, and will continue their campaign in the Round of 16.
