Italy's head coach Luciano Spalletti spoke about the upcoming clash with Spain. The teams will meet in the second round of the group stage of Euro 2024.
"Sometimes we will attack, sometimes we will have to defend in our own half of the pitch, but we will try to dominate the match against Spain.
We want to try our hand against one of the top teams to understand our level.
We aim to show positive football and control the ball," Spalletti is quoted by Football Italia.
The match between Spain and Italy will take place on June 20 and will kick off at 23:00 Yerevan time.
In the first round Spain defeated Croatia 3-0, Italy defeated Albania 2-1.
