England faced Slovenia and Denmark locked horns with Serbia in their third—and last—matches in Group C in the group stage of UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany.
And both matches ended in goalless draws.
As a result, England took first place in this group, with 5 points, and advanced to the Round of 16.
Slovenia and Denmark are in the next two places, with 3 points each. Their goal difference is also equal: 2-2.
Denmark, however, finished second thanks to a higher world ranking and will continue their campaign in the playoffs.
Serbia finished last in this group, with 2 points, and are out.
Denmark's opponents in the Round of 16 will be the host nation, Germany.
But Slovenia retain the chance to qualify for the playoffs from the third place.
