Xavi: We still have a chance to be champions, we won't give up

Xavi, the head coach of Spanish title defending champions Barcelona, is confident that they still a chance to win the current La Liga season.

"We will fight for the title until the end. We still have a chance to become champions, we will not back down. The team is in normal condition, but we know we have missed many opportunities. Tomorrow we can put pressure on Girona. We can overtake them and be five points behind Real Madrid. We are not only thinking about the Champions League. La Liga has not lost yet," - quotes Xavi AS.

After 27 rounds of "Barcelona" is third with 58 points and 1 point behind "Girona", going in second place. The leading "Real Madrid" has 66 points.

In the 28th round "Barcelona" will host "Mallorca" on 8 March.
