Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who is recovering from an injury, has thanked fans for their support.
“Really touched by all your wishes for a prompt recovery. Thank you Fans! Coming back stronger,” the Arsenal midfielder and Armenia national football squad captain wrote on social media and posted a photo.
As reported earlier, Mkhitaryan suffered this injury during Arsenal’s English Football League (EFL) Cup quarterfinal clash against Tottenham Hotspur, on December 19.
The Armenia international was subbed off during halftime of this match.
And on Monday, Mkhitaryan was diagnosed with a fractured metatarsal in his right foot.
He is expected to resume training in February.
