A huge brawl took place between the footballers of the two teams, after the final whistle was blown in Japan’s J1 League match between Vissel Kobe and Shimizu S-Pulse.
In the game which ended in a 3-3 tie, the Vissel Kobe goalkeeper equalized the score in the 14th minute of stoppage time, and, subsequently, the emotions ran high.
Law enforcement officers intervened to stop this scuffle.
Vissel Kobe’s Spanish midfielder Andrés Iniesta and German forward Lukas Podolski also were involved in this melee.
