Arsenal newcomer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang said that the midfielder of the Armenian national team Henrikh Mkhitaryan's transfer influenced his decision, Arsenal Weekly Podcast reported.
"It's great to play with Mkhitaryan again in the same team. It's like reuniting with a brother. He called me a few times during the winter transfer window and asked about my decision. I asked him if he would agree to the transfer. He said that he had already signed the contract. His tranfer strongly influenced my decision to continue career in Arsenal," Aubameyang said.
The two footballers had played together also from 2013 to 2016 at Borussia Dortmund.
