Mino Raiola, the agent of Manchester United (England) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, has confirmed the news that the captain of the Armenian national football squad could move to Arsenal (London, England), whereas Chilean forward Alexis Sánchez—in the opposite direction.
“Manchester United is not going to sign Sánchez unless Mkhi [Mkhitaryan] agrees to join Arsenal,” announced Raiola, speaking to The Times. “Mkhi has not decided yet. Mkhi is going to do what is best for him. He has 2.5 years left on his contract, so it’s his decision.”
There were rumors that Alexis Sánchez had already come to a mutual agreement with the Red Devils over the terms of his contract, and that now, both the club and the Chilean footballer were waiting for Henrikh Mkhitaryan to reach an accord with the Gunners.
