In the 6th round of the World Chess Olympiad, the Armenian women's team defeated the Latvian team with a score of 3–1.
International Master Lilit Mkrtchyan, Woman Grandmaster Mariam Mkrtchyan, and Grandmaster Elina Danielian secured victories, while Susanna Gaboyan lost her match.
After six rounds, the Armenian women's team sits in 7th place with 10 team points.
A total of 11 rounds will be played at the Olympiad.
