Cristiano Ronaldo to part ways with Real?

FC Real Madrid’s (Spain) star forward Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to extend his working contract, and he plans to reduce the amount of compensation that needs to be paid for severing the contract before it expires, according to EcoDiario.
Real’s management has not offered to extend the current contract of the captain of the Portuguese national football squad, and the 32-year-old player is not planning on starting respective negotiations.
But Ronaldo is trying to come to a mutual agreement with the club, with respect to reducing the amount of his release clause.
According to the source, the Portuguese star forward decided to part ways with Real Madrid after the latter’s chairman, Florentino Pérez, had stated that Paris Saint-Germain’s Brazilian star forward Neymar would have a better chance of winning the Ballon d’Or at Real Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s current contract with the Spanish club runs until the summer of 2021. And if this agreement is severed ahead of time, €1 billion shall be paid.
