Garry Kasparov to resume his career after 12 years and to play with Levon Aronian

The 13th world champion of classical chess, grandmaster (GM) Garry Kasparov will take part in the Grand Chess Tour, which will be held in St. Louis, US. 

The 54-year-old chess master retired from professional chess in 2005 after a record 20 years as the world's top-ranked player, and now – 12 years post-career – he's coming back to the board in Saint Louis.

Kasparov's opponents at the tournament in St. Louis will be the first number of the Armenian national team Levon Aronian, American GMs Fabiano Caruana and Hikaru Nakamura, Russian GMs Sergey Karjakin and Ian Nepomniachtchi, Viswanathan Anand (India), David Navara (Czech Republic), Lenier Dominguez (Cuba) and Le Quang Liem (Vietnam).
