Grand Chess Tour 2016: Armenia’s Aronian places 4th

 The London Chess Classic tournament wrapped up Sunday in the British capital city.

Chess Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian, who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the former World Team Chess champions Armenia, shared seventh to ninth spots in this event.

GM Wesley So (USA) won this tournament.

London Chess Classic was the last phase in the Grand Chess Tour 2016.

Aronian placed fourth, overall, in this year-long tournament.

GM So also became the winner of this tournament series.
