Yelena Isinbayeva wins tournament in Rouen

Two-time pole vault Olympic champion, record holder Yelena Isinbayeva won a traditional international athletics tournament held on July 10 in French Rouen.  

She won the tournament with a result of 4.75 meters. The second was British Holly Bleasdale, and the third Poland’s Anna Rogovska.

Isinbayeva is one of Russia’s hopes for gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics. In case she wins the gold medal in pole vault, she will become the first woman to win three straight individual Olympic athletics titles. Her world record is 5.06 m.
