Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini, 47, agreed to sign a new contract with the team. As soon as Mancini prolongs his contract with the club, he would become one of the highest paid managers of the Premier League.
He will get £20 million for four seasons. Mancini will earn £5 million for a season, which is £1 million higher than Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson’s salary.
The highest paid manager in England is London’s Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger, who gets £6 million annually, The Mirror reports.
