Armenia-Belarus football friendly to be Berezovsky’s farewell game

YEREVAN. – The Armenia-Belarus football friendly, which will be played on March 25 in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, will be legendary goalkeeper Roman Berezovsky’s farewell game as member of the Armenian national squad, the Football Federation of Armenia informed.

After last year’s match against Portugal, the legendary goalkeeper decided to end his professional football career.

Berezovsky had made his debut for Armenia also in a match against Portugal, on August 31, 1996.

Roman Berezovsky has had an illustrious club football career, too.
