Argentina 8-time football champions will not team up with Turkish Airlines

Eight-time football champions of Argentina, Racing Club, have refused collaborating with Turkish Airlines.

Even though the Argentine club were conducting negotiations with Turkish Airlines, they refused to work in partnership because of the Armenian Genocide, Apertura.com reported.

The Armenian National Committee of South America posted a respective message of thanks on Racing’s website.

“No fan in the world would like his club to be sponsored by a government that violates human rights,” Committee Director Alfonso Tabakian stated, in particular.

Last year, San Lorenzo (de Almagro) football club of Argentina had refused to team up with an Azerbaijani company, and because of Armenia.
