Manchester United has set a Premier League record for the number of own goals scored in its favor.
In the second round of the English championship, the Manchester team defeated Ipswich Town 5–2. Ipswich Town's English defender, Jacob Greaves, scored an own goal.
A total of 80 own goals have been scored in favor of Manchester United in the Premier League. The previous record-holder was Liverpool, with 79 own goals.
