Germany manager Joachim Low said the decision to play a friendly match against Armenia in their final warm-up match before the World Cup was a deliberate choice.
“We deliberately chose to play Armenia as they play a similar counter-attacking style to Portugal,” Goal.com quotes Germany head coach.
Roman Weidenfeller will replace Manuel Neuer until he is fit to play in Brazil.
Germany vs. Armenia friendly match will start at 10:45 Yerevan time on Friday.
