Chess: Tigran Gharamian third in Metz, Tigran Kotanjian leading in Beirut

Armenian GM Tigran Gharamian scored 6.5 points out of nine and shared 1st-6th places together with GMs Andrei Istratescu (France), Andrey Vovk (Ukraine), Vladimir Epishin (Russia), Christian Bauer (France) and IM Samy Shoker (Egypt) at the open was held in Metz, France.

By the tie-break Gharamian took the third place. The winner of the tournament was Shoker, Armchess reported. 

Armenian GM Tigran Kotanjian has scored 3.5 points after four rounds and is leading together with seven other participants at the open that is being held in Beirut, Lebanon.
