Armenian chess grandmasters compete in Netherlands

Armenian Grandmasters (GMs) Zaven Andriasian and Elina Danielian are participating in the chess open that is held in Groningen, the Netherlands.  

In the first two rounds, Andriasian defeated his Dutch and Russian opponents, respectively, while Danielian beat the representatives of Russia and Germany, correspondingly. 

After Round 2, both Armenian GMs have garnered 2 points, apiece. 

In the third round, Zaven Andriasian and Elina Danielian will face each other. 

The tournament will end on December 30.
