Warsaw: Sargissian and Petrosian continue winning

Grandmasters (GMs) Gabriel Sargissian and Tigran Petrosian achieved another win in the third round of the blitz competitions of the European Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships being held in the Polish capital city Warsaw.  

To note, Sargissian and Petrosian are members of the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the previous World Team Chess champions, Armenia. 

Sargissian and Petrosian defeated Vasily Nedilko and Adam Deszczynski, respectively, by scores of 2-0.   

In the starting rounds, the two Armenian GMs had defeated their opponents with the same score, and they have 6 points, apiece, after three rounds. 

GM Zaven Andriasian, on the other hand, defeated Hanna Erenska-barlo, and he has 5.5 points at present. 

The tournament will come to an end on Sunday.
