The eighth round of the men’s World Chess Team Championship 2013 kicked off in Antalya, Turkey. Armenian team, three-time World Chess Olympiad champions, is facing the Netherlands.
Armenia’s Tigran Petrosyan won his match against L'ami Erwin.
After the seventh round Armenia, along with the Netherlands and the US, have tallied 8 points and these teams share 4th to 6th places. Ukraine are the current leaders with 12 points.
