Fifth-round games will be played Saturday at the men’s World Chess Team Championship 2013 being held in Antalya, Turkey.
In Round 5, three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the reining World Team Chess champions Armenia—comprising Grandmasters (GMs) Levon Aronian, Sergei Movsesian, Vladimir Akopian, Gabriel Sargissian, and Tigran Petrosian—will face newly-crowned European champions Azerbaijan.
After the fourth round Armenia and Azerbaijan have tallied 5 and 4 points, respectively.
In the previous round Armenia lost to China by a score of 1.5-2.5.
