Russian football analyst Evgeny Lovchev stated that FC Spartak Moscow (Russia) had invited Armenian national squad and Borussia Dortmund (Germany) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the club.
“A Spartak boss gave Mkhitaryan an empty paper and said: ‘Write any amount!’ [But] Mkhitaryan replied that he wanted to play there, in professional football.
“I am telling [you] this from the first source,” Sovetski Sport quotes Lovchev as saying.
To note, in July, the 24-year-old Armenian international transferred from FC Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) to Borussia Dortmund for €27.5 million.
