YEREVAN. – Armenian Grandmaster (GM) Avetik Grigoryan started with a victory the great chess open being held in the Indonesian capital city Jakarta, Armchess reports.
In Round 1, Armenia’s representative defeated Tirto Tirto (Indonesia).
Next, Grigoryan will face Yeda Karavade.
A total of 108 chess players, including 48 grandmasters, are taking part in the tournament.
