YEREVAN. – As a member of Club Magic Extremadura, Armenia’s Olympic champion, Grandmaster (GM) Gabriel Sargissian, played a draw against GM Etienne Bacrot (France) in the third round of the Spanish Team Chess Championship being held in Linares, Armchess reports.
As a result, the Armenian chess master has tallied 2 points after three rounds.
To note, in the first two rounds Sargissian played against grandmasters from Cuba.
First, he played a draw against Lazaro Bruzon, and he subsequently defeated Leinier Dominguez Perez.
