Olympic champion Gabriel Sargissian is participating in the Spanish Team Chess Championship in Linares, Armchess reported.
In the first two rounds Sargissian played with grandmasters from Cuba. First, he ended in a draw with blacks against Lazaro Bruzon, then took victory over Leinier Dominguez Perez. In the third round Sargissian’s rival will be GM Etienne Bacrot (France).
