Edgar Manucharyan playing below his ability - Armenian national manager

Edgar Manucharyan will join Armenian international squad as soon as he “shows his level”, national squad boss Vardan Minasyan told Sport –express.ru.

Ural FC striker has received an invitation to join Armenian team for a friendly against Albania, but did not leave for Tirana and returned to Russia from Yerevan.

“Manucharyan is not using his potential during the game. We have been waiting for a long time, since 2004,” he said.

Minasyan noted that Manucharyan is now playing well below his ability.

“We will invite him when he returns to his level,” he added.
