Belgrade: Armenia’s Mkrtchian trails leader by one point

Armenia’s WGM Lilit Mkrtchian tallied 4.5 points after six rounds in the 14th European Individual Women’s Chess Championship being held in Belgrade, Serbia, belgrade2013.org reports.

In Round 6, Mkrtchian played a draw with Bela Khotenashvili, and she now trails the current leader—Nino Khurtsidze—by one point. 

WGMs Maria Kursova and Lilit Galojan have 3.5 points, apiece.

WIM Anna Hairapetian and another Armenian chess player, Alina Balaian who represents Russia, have garnered 3 points, each, so far.
