It is unfortunate that Mkhitaryan sustained an injury, stated Germany’s Borussia Dortmund Sport Manager Michael Zorc.
Zorc commented on Armenian national football squad and Borussia midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s recent injury.
“Everyone in the team is saddened. But we know the period during which Henrikh will be unable to help the team. It is good that Miki [i.e., Mkhitaryan] had enough time to adapt at Borussia before the injury,” Spox.com quotes Zorc as saying.
To note, the Armenian international suffered a shin injury during Borussia’s friendly game against FC Luzern of Switzerland on Tuesday, and he will be out of action for four weeks.
