Mkhitaryan’s transfer to Borussia is great progress for him – Armenian national team coach

Shakhtar is a great club, but it is difficult to compare the German and the Ukrainian leagues, stated Vardan Minasyan, manager of the Armenian national football squad.

He commented on Armenian national football team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s move to Germany’s Borussia Dortmund from Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk. 

“The move to Borussia is a great progress for Mkhitaryan. It is apparent that the German league is stronger. I believe Mkhitaryan’s style of play matches Borussia’s style of play. In addition, the factor of the head coach needs to be taken into account. [Borussia Dortmund Manager] Jürgen Klopp is one of the best coaches in the world; I am confident that this is a great advantage for Henrikh.        

“Henrikh is a true professional. He always sets an objective before himself and moves towards it. He is very diligent. Mkhitaryan has excellent speed, [ball] dribbling [skills], physical features, and game thinking,” Championat.com quotes Minasyan as saying.
