YEREVAN. – Armenian GM Varuzhan Akobian came in third at the chess open that was held in Las Vegas, USA, Armchess.am reports.
Akobian garnered a total of 5 points, out of possible 6 points, and shared 1st-6th place together with GMs Wesley So (Philippines), Jaan Ehlvest, Alejandro Ramirez, Enrico Sevillano (USA), and Manuel Leon Hoyos (Mexico).
The Armenian chess master captured third place on tiebreak.
