Spertsyan's goal contributed to Al-Ahli's victory

In the fifth round of the Saudi Arabian football league, Al-Ahli hosted Al-Riyadh and secured a 5–0 victory.

English forward Ivan Toney scored a brace, netting both goals from the penalty spot.

Armenian national team captain and midfielder Eduard Spertsyan, Portuguese forward Trincao, and Saudi midfielder Naif Masoud also got on the scoresheet.

Spertsyan was substituted in the 75th minute.

Spertsyan, who moved to Saudi Arabia from the Russian club Krasnodar this summer, has recorded three goals and four assists for Al-Ahli.

Al-Ahli sits in fourth place with 9 points, while Al-Riyadh is in 12th place with 4 points.
