Alashkert defeats Van

In the 6th round of the Armenian Premier League, Yerevan's Alashkert hosted Charentsavan's Van and won 4–0.

23-year-old forward from the Congo Domi Masumu scored for Alashkert in the 9th minute assisted by 28-year-old defender Davit Terteryan.

Masumu netted his second goal in the 39th minute, receiving the assist from 23-year-old Nigerian forward Olawale Farayola.

In the 62nd minute, Masumu completed a hat-trick with a header following an assist from Karen Nalbandyan marking his fifth goal of the season.

In the third minute of stoppage time 24-year-old Nigerian forward Philip Ejike scored Alashkert's fourth goal.

Alashkert sits in second place with 13 points from five matches, while Van is at the bottom of the standings with one point.

It is worth noting that Van played the match against Alashkert without a head coach; hours before kickoff, the club announced the termination of head coach Aleksandr Mikhailov's contract by mutual agreement.
