In the 1/16 finals, Iga Swiatek opponent will be the winner of the confrontation between the 52nd ranked French player Diane Parry and the 85th ranked Argentine Nadia Podoroska.
World No. 5 Jasmine Paolini of Italy also had a victorious start, defeating world No. 96 Ana Bogdan of Romania 7:5, 6:3.
