Tens of thousands of fans in Belgrade have welcomed the Olympic medalists of the Serbian national team.
Novak Djokovic, the world's second ranked men’s player and 24-time Grand Slam champion, won the Olympic tennis title for the first time. The Serbian tennis star had defeated Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) in the final.
Serbia won three gold medals at the Olympic Games in Paris. In addition to Djokovic, the Serbian men won the water polo competition. Also, Serbia won another gold medal in shooting.
