The tenth round was played Monday at the World Chess Federation (FIDE) Candidates Tournament 2024 being held in Toronto, Canada.
Hikaru Nakamura and Fabiano Caruana (USA) won their matches and came closer to current leaders Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia) and Dommaraju Gukesh (India), who have 6 points each.
Fourteen rounds will be held in the Candidates Tournament, and its winner will vie for the world title against the reigning world champion, Ding Liren (China).
