Arman Tsarukyan (Armenia), who is No. 4 in the mixed martial arts (MMA) lightweight division (up to 70 kg) of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) rankings, announced that he represents Armenia. The Russian Armenian athlete now lives in the US.
"I represent Armenia. On Saturday, I will give Armenia the opportunity to follow my triumph. I will take that victory for you: boys," Tsarukyan said to Championat.com reported.
At UFC 300, Arman Tsarukyan will face Charles Oliveira (Brazil), who is No. 1 in the MMA lightweight division of the UFC rankings.
The fight will take place on Saturday in Las Vegas, USA.
Tsarukyan has an MMA record of 21 wins and 3 losses.
Oliveira has 34 wins and 9 losses.
